Researchers investigate mysterious skin side effects of Wilson's disease medication

Summary
This study aims to better understand skin damage that can occur in Wilson's disease patients taking the standard medication D-Penicillamine. Researchers will compare skin elasticity in 120 patients taking this medication against healthy volunteers using silicone molds and laser measurements. The goal is to learn how this common treatment affects skin over time to help guide future care decisions.
