Summary

This study looks at how hearing sensitivity (hyperacusis) may influence language abilities in children and adults with Williams syndrome. Researchers will compare participants with Williams syndrome to those with Down syndrome and typically developing individuals using brain activity recordings (EEG-NIRS) and questionnaires. The goal is to better understand the role of phonological short-term memory in language development. No treatment or medication is involved.
