Scientists test if wildfire smoke harms your brain in just one hour
NCT ID NCT07151235
Summary
This study aimed to understand if breathing simulated wildfire smoke for one hour affects a blood marker linked to brain health. Twelve healthy, non-smoking adults participated. They each had two visits: one breathing clean air and one breathing simulated smoke, with blood draws and memory tests before and after to compare the effects.
