NCT ID NCT06902883
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested two improvements for wheelchair transport in a cancer hospital: a new seat and a system to attach IV poles directly to the wheelchair. The goal was to see if these changes could shorten travel time and make rides more comfortable for 154 adult patients. The hospital has been working on reducing pain during transport since 2006, and this study continues those efforts.
