Summary
This study tested two improvements for hospital wheelchair transport to make patients more comfortable. Researchers evaluated a new system that connects IV poles directly to wheelchairs to save time, and tested a new, softer wheelchair seat. They measured whether these changes reduced pain and improved comfort for cancer patients being moved between hospital departments.
