Stomach-Stitching procedure tested as new hope for sleep apnea
NCT ID NCT07082608
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-surgical weight loss procedure, combined with diet and exercise, can improve obstructive sleep apnea better than lifestyle changes alone. Researchers will compare two groups of adults with obesity and moderate-to-severe sleep apnea over 12 months. The goal is to see if reducing stomach size to help with weight loss leads to better sleep and breathing.
