Can your Doctor's office help you keep the weight off? new study says yes
NCT ID NCT04420936
Summary
This study tested whether training regular healthcare staff, like nurses and medical assistants, to provide lifestyle coaching could help people maintain weight loss over two years. It involved 269 adults who had recently lost weight and compared those who received coaching through an online patient portal with those who only tracked their progress. The goal was to create a practical program that clinics could continue using after the research ended.
