Summary
This study tested a drug called telotristat ethyl in 23 people with advanced pancreatic cancer who had lost at least 10% of their body weight. The goal was to see if the drug could help them stabilize or gain weight by reducing bowel movements. Maintaining weight may help patients better tolerate chemotherapy and live longer.
