Scientists test if teen bodies 'Fight' weight loss by saving energy
NCT ID NCT07155746
Summary
This study aims to understand how the bodies of adolescents with obesity use energy during walking when weight loss is simulated. Researchers will have 20 teens walk on a special treadmill that can make them feel lighter, as if they had lost weight. The goal is to learn if the body tries to conserve energy after weight loss, which might make keeping weight off more difficult.
