NCT ID NCT03970603

First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at whether people with a certain type of ankle injury can safely start putting weight on their foot earlier after surgery. 40 adults were split into two groups: one started walking at 2 weeks, the other waited 6 weeks. The goal was to see if early weight-bearing leads to similar healing and fewer complications.
