Weekly shot could replace daily growth hormone for short kids

Summary
This study compares a new once-weekly growth hormone (Somatrogon) to a daily growth hormone (Genotropin) in 254 children with short stature due to being born small for gestational age or having idiopathic short stature. The goal is to see if the weekly shot works as well as the daily one over 12 months. Participants are children aged 3 to 11 who have not had growth hormone treatment before.
