Weekly growth hormone shot could replace daily injections for short kids

NCT ID NCT07226089

Summary

This study compares a new weekly growth hormone injection (Somatrogon) against the standard daily injection (Genotropin) in children with short stature. It involves 254 children aged 3-11 who were born small for their gestational age or have unexplained short stature. The goal is to see if the weekly treatment works as well as daily injections for increasing growth rate over 12 months.
