First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a new insulin called GZR4 that is given once a week, compared to a standard daily insulin (glargine), in adults with type 2 diabetes who have never used insulin before. About 580 participants will receive either the weekly shot or the daily shot, along with other diabetes pills. The main goal is to see if the weekly insulin controls blood sugar just as well, with fewer injections and similar safety.
