App-Based support shows promise for dementia caregivers

Summary

This study tested a mobile health program called WECARE for Chinese American family caregivers of people with dementia. 48 caregivers received daily multimedia content on WeChat for 7 weeks to help them feel more confident and less stressed. The goal was to see if the program could reduce depressive symptoms and caregiving burden.
