Web-Based relaxation may ease PMS without pills

NCT ID NCT06705660

First seen Nov 01, 2025

Summary

This study tested whether web-based lifestyle training and progressive relaxation exercises could reduce symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in women aged 18-35. Sixty-six women were split into three groups: one received online lifestyle training, another received online relaxation training, and a third group received no training. The programs lasted 8 weeks, with follow-up one month later. Researchers measured changes in PMS symptoms, anxiety, stress, quality of life, and daily functioning.
