VA tests online tool in race to curb veteran suicide crisis

Summary
This study is testing a brief, online program designed to help Veterans cope with suicidal thoughts. About 180 Veterans will be randomly assigned to either try the 40-minute web-based program along with their usual care, or to continue with their usual care alone. Researchers will measure changes in suicidal thoughts and behaviors over one month to see if the program helps more than standard care.
