Smart insoles aim to detect MS changes from your living room

NCT ID NCT05781113

Summary

This study is testing whether smart insoles worn in shoes can help monitor the condition of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) from their own homes. The insoles collect walking data several times a week, and an app uses artificial intelligence to look for subtle changes that might indicate the disease is getting better or worse. The goal is to give doctors more detailed, objective information about a patient's walking to help guide their care.
