First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is testing a wearable sensor that measures muscle oxygen levels in high school and college athletes recovering from ACL or hip surgery. The goal is to see if the sensor can provide better data to help decide when it's safe to return to sports. About 226 athletes aged 14 to 30 will participate, and the sensor readings will be compared between the surgical and non-surgical leg.
