Wristwatch & glasses trial aims to soothe dementia distress
NCT ID NCT07249918
Summary
This small pilot study is testing if two wearable devices are easy and helpful for people with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. One device is a wristwatch that tracks activity and sleep. The other is a pair of glasses that uses light therapy, which may help improve sleep and mood. Researchers want to see if using these tools is practical and if they might help reduce common dementia symptoms and caregiver stress.
