First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether wearing a medical-grade smartwatch (CardioWatch 287-2) helps people with heart disease get better results from a 13-week virtual cardiac rehab program. About 216 adults in Nova Scotia will take part, some using the watch and some not. The goal is to see if the watch helps doctors monitor progress and improve exercise, diet, and quality of life.
