What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
wearable passive back support suit (Angel GEAR soft B10)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could give caregivers a practical tool to reduce back pain and prevent injury during patient lifting.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed trial with only 30 male participants, so results may not apply to all caregivers. The device may not outperform a traditional back brace.
