NCT ID NCT06352645
First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a Bixdo portable water flosser along with a manual toothbrush is safe and effective for reducing gum inflammation and plaque in people with gingivitis. About 165 adults aged 18-70 with moderate to severe gingivitis will be randomly assigned to use either the water flosser plus brushing or just brushing alone for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure gum health and plaque levels at three visits to see if the water flosser provides extra benefits.
