Summary

This study tests whether using a portable water flosser along with a manual toothbrush is safe and effective for reducing gum inflammation and plaque in people with gingivitis. About 165 adults aged 18-70 with moderate to severe gingivitis will be randomly assigned to use either a water flosser plus toothbrush or just a toothbrush for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure gum health and plaque levels at three visits.
