NCT ID NCT06587100

First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study is testing whether step counts from a wearable device can help predict when cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy might need to go to the emergency room or be hospitalized. Researchers will collect activity data from 260 adults with cancer to see if changes in walking patterns can serve as an early warning. The goal is to improve care by spotting risks before they become emergencies.
