NCT ID NCT07232251

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether keeping patients warm during gallbladder removal surgery can lower inflammation and improve recovery. About 128 adults having planned laparoscopic gallbladder surgery will be randomly assigned to one of four groups: no special warming, a warm air blanket, warmed IV fluids, or both. Researchers will measure body temperature and take blood samples before and after surgery to check inflammatory markers.
