First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether soaking feet in warm water for 20 minutes before pituitary adenoma surgery can lower anxiety and improve heart rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs. 100 adult patients took part, half receiving the foot bath and half not. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free method helps patients feel more relaxed before their operation.
