NCT ID NCT07142512

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether helping couples with type 2 diabetes walk more—by giving step counters and step prescriptions—can improve blood sugar control. Half of the 200 couples will also get counseling to improve communication and teamwork. Researchers will track steps and blood sugar over 24 weeks to see if the extra support makes a difference.
