First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study is testing two new ways to help children with cerebral palsy walk better. One method uses targeted resistance training for the ankle muscles, and the other uses a device that gives adaptive ankle assistance during walking. The goal is to see if these approaches improve walking speed, muscle control, and overall mobility compared to standard physical therapy. The study involves 36 children and teens aged 8 to 21.
