First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special walking platform, designed to prevent falls and help with standing, could be used by older cancer patients (over 70) while they were in the hospital. The goal was to see if patients would use it enough to make it a practical option. The study included 45 patients and measured how many completed at least two short walking sessions during their hospital stay.
