Bunion sufferers: does a 60-Minute walk help or hurt?
NCT ID NCT07177768
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study looks at what happens to pain, balance, and posture after a 60-minute walk in people with hallux valgus (bunions). Researchers will compare 32 adults with and without the condition. The goal is to better understand how prolonged walking affects symptoms and movement, which could inform future care.

- What this could lead to
- If successful, this study could help understand how walking affects pain and balance in people with bunions, potentially guiding future therapy recommendations.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early observational study with only 32 participants. It looks at short-term effects only, so results may not apply to long-term outcomes or to everyone with hallux valgus.
