First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study compares treadmill walking alone to treadmill walking while doing mental tasks (like counting or naming) in 46 people with early-to-mid stage Alzheimer's. The goal is to see if the combined training improves both physical movement and thinking skills better than walking alone. Participants must be able to walk at least 400 meters and be on stable Alzheimer's medication.
