New hope for cystic fibrosis patients with no other options

Summary
This study tests a new drug called VX-522 in adults with cystic fibrosis whose genetic mutations do not respond to existing CFTR modulator therapies. The main goals are to check if the drug is safe and tolerable, and to see if it improves lung function. About 26 participants aged 18 and older will take part in this early-phase trial.
