NCT ID NCT07047157

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares video-based virtual reality (VR) training to traditional face-to-face teaching for nursing students learning how to insert a peripheral IV. Sixty nursing students will be randomly assigned to either VR or standard instruction, and their self-confidence and motivation will be measured before and after training. The goal is to see if VR can improve learning outcomes and help develop better teaching methods for clinical skills.
