First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether nursing students who learn how to start an IV using a virtual reality (VR) video feel more confident and motivated than those taught in a traditional classroom. About 60 students will be split into two groups: one uses VR headsets, the other gets face-to-face instruction. Researchers will measure their confidence and motivation before and after training to see if VR makes a difference.
