VR goggles aim to boost recovery confidence after cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT07078656
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) video training session can help patients feel more confident and capable in managing their own recovery after colorectal cancer surgery. Researchers will compare two groups of patients: one that watches the VR training video after surgery and one that does not. The main goal is to see if the training improves patients' self-reported confidence in tasks like wound care, medication use, and knowing when to seek help.
