VR goggles aim to boost patient confidence after cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT07078656

Summary

This study is testing whether watching a virtual reality training video helps patients feel more confident and capable in managing their own recovery after colorectal cancer surgery. Researchers will compare two groups of 66 patients: one group watches the VR training after surgery, while the other does not. The main goal is to see if the video improves patients' belief in their ability to handle wound care, medication, diet, and other parts of recovery.
