First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) therapy can help pregnant women who are hospitalized for complications and feeling depressed. About 44 participants will either get VR-enhanced behavioral activation therapy or standard social work support for 3 weeks. The goal is to see if VR therapy is practical and reduces depressive symptoms more than usual care.
