First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether virtual reality-based mindfulness therapy can reduce pain and improve daily function in adults with chronic low back pain. About 214 people aged 20-70 will either receive 8 weeks of VR mindfulness sessions plus usual care, or just usual care. The goal is to see if this approach provides meaningful relief without medication.
