VR headsets calm nerves to help heal voices
NCT ID NCT07176013
Summary
This study is testing whether starting voice therapy sessions with a guided meditation in virtual reality (VR) helps people learn and retain treatment better. It will involve 60 adults with voice disorders and anxiety, who will use a VR headset for meditation before their regular therapy. Researchers want to see if this VR meditation reduces anxiety, improves focus, and leads to better vocal control during therapy.
