Virtual reality brings home rehab to stroke patients

NCT ID NCT06704074

Summary

This study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) to simulate familiar home settings can help people recover arm and hand function after a stroke. Researchers will compare VR-assisted training to standard rehabilitation methods in 86 participants who had a stroke 1 to 6 months ago. The goal is to see if practicing daily tasks in a realistic virtual environment makes therapy more engaging and effective for improving movement and independence.
