VR goggles challenge standard therapy for dizzy patients

NCT ID NCT03838562

Summary

This study tested whether a balance rehabilitation program using virtual reality (VR) goggles is as effective as the standard therapy using specialized balance equipment. It involved 76 adults with vestibular disorders causing dizziness and balance problems. Researchers compared improvements in balance scores after 3-4 weeks of therapy to see if the more affordable and portable VR option performed just as well.
