Virtual ocean voyage could calm Firefighters' traumatic memories
NCT ID NCT07393776
Summary
This study tested whether experiencing calming virtual reality content could help reduce the emotional impact of traumatic memories. Researchers showed university students a video of a house fire, then had some participants watch a peaceful VR ocean scene while others did different activities. They measured how accurately participants remembered the fire and how they felt emotionally afterward.
