NCT ID NCT06917456
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) app is practical and helpful for people staying in psychiatric hospital wards. Researchers worked with 43 patients and staff to design and improve the app, which uses relaxing VR scenes. The goal was to see if patients would use it and find it helpful for easing distress. The study did not aim to cure any condition, but to offer a new way to support mental health during a hospital stay.
