NCT ID NCT07206940
Summary
This study is testing whether virtual reality headsets can help reduce anxiety and pain in patients undergoing chest tube drainage procedures. Researchers are comparing personalized VR experiences against standard care for 38 adults with lung conditions like pneumothorax or pleural effusion. The goal is to see if distraction through VR makes these uncomfortable medical procedures more tolerable for patients.
