Scientists test VR meditation and magnetic pulses to soothe troubled minds
NCT ID NCT05061745
Summary
This study is testing two non-drug methods to help people struggling with persistent feelings of unease, dissatisfaction, or distress, known as dysphoria. Researchers will see if guided meditation using a virtual reality headset or a faster schedule of magnetic brain stimulation (a treatment already used for depression) can help improve well-being. The goal is to find new, practical options that don't require long-term medication.
