VR headsets could replace pain pills for back pain
NCT ID NCT07202975
Summary
This study tests whether a virtual reality (VR) rehabilitation program can help people with chronic low back pain better than standard physical therapy. About 314 adults with long-term back pain will either use the VR system at home and in clinics or attend regular group therapy sessions. Researchers will track pain levels, fear of movement, and how well people stick with their exercises over several months.
