Experimental eye drug aims to slow vision loss in rare genetic disease

Summary
This study tests an investigational drug called VP-001, given as an eye injection, for people with a rare genetic form of retinitis pigmentosa caused by PRPF31 mutations. The goal is to see if it is safe and can help slow vision loss. The trial involves 16 adults who have already received VP-001 in earlier studies and will receive two different doses over 26 months.
