New drug combo aims to beat stomach bug that causes ulcers

Summary
This study tests whether a newer drug (vonoprazan) works better than a standard drug (esomeprazole) when combined with two antibiotics to treat H. pylori infection. About 80 adults with stomach discomfort and confirmed H. pylori will take one of the two treatments for 14 days. Four weeks later, a stool test checks if the infection is gone, and side effects are recorded.
