New hope for advanced cervical cancer: drug aims to keep disease in check

Summary

This study tests a drug called volrustomig in 37 women with advanced cervical cancer that hasn't spread to other organs. Participants have already completed standard chemotherapy and radiation. The goal is to see if volrustomig can help keep the cancer from coming back or growing for at least two years. The drug works by helping the immune system fight cancer cells.
