Tonsil surgery may change Kids' voices – new study investigates

Summary

This study looks at how removing enlarged adenoids or tonsils changes children's voice and speech. Thirty-six kids aged 4 to 13 will have their voice quality measured before surgery and again 1 and 3 months after. The goal is to help doctors better explain possible voice changes to families.
